We believe in our leather, thread and craftsmanship so strongly that we offer a warranty on every one of our leather products against defects in materials and workmanship for 100 years. If you or one of your lucky descendents should have a problem, send it back and we will repair or replace it for free (be sure to put this guarantee in your will). Copper River Bag leather products are made to last a lifetime, but they're not bear, bullet or semi-truck proof. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover misuse or abuse or normal wear and tear.
Because of the nature of full grain leather and how difficult it is to work with, all of our bags are uniquely different and are made to have markings, with some uneven stitching, tones and shades that vary and areas not perfectly symmetrical. They're not mass produced. They're created by a few folks who have worked with leather for the majority of their lives. We designed and built these bags for durability, and style. As the bags are used, broken-in and conditioned properly, the leather will soften and have a worn and used look to them which may include some wrinkling. From the uncountable emails received from our happy customers over the years, they adore their bags even more with time.

Shipping:
The Copper River Bags online store is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are in the shop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Pacifc Time), Monday through Friday and can be reached by telephone (+1-916-245-2212), via our live chat service featured on our website, or by email (info@copperriverbags.com).

This Product is made by hand at the time of the order. Please allow 7 to 14 BUSINESS DAYS to ship, excluding weekends and holidays. This is due to the increasingly high demand of our bags. Your bag is built to order just for you when you purchase, right here in Nevada City, California. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We work around the clock to fulfill all orders. Please understand, we do not stock pile or mass produce our bags. Every bag is handmade which is why it can sometimes take up to 14 business days to finish and ship your bag (Orders outside our normal designs or special customized orders can take a few days longer, however that is usually not the case. But believe us when we say, "It's well worth the wait." Our motto is: No two Copper River Bags are the same and every Copper River Bag is crafted to last a lifetime. That is why every leather bag comes with a 100 year warranty.
Refunds and Exchanges
Keep in mind that it is our #1 goal here at Copper River Bag Co. to ensure each and every customer's satisfaction with their purchase from us. Hey, you're going to have your beautiful bag for a long long time, so we'll be happy to work with you on the issues you have and provide you with some amazing options before we proceed with a return. Just send us an email and one of our Customer Service Peeps will talk with you on a personal and friendly level to establish a resolution. We know online shopping can be cumbersome for a lot of people and we completely understand. Which is why we're striving to break out of that.
WITHIN 7 DAYS: (of receipt): A refund can be requested (less shipping charges). An authorization is required and can be obtained by contacting our Customer Service Department.
****If your bag has been cut and is in production or if your bag has been shipped there will be a 12% RESTOCK FEE**** Unfortunately we are unable to cover the shipping costs for sending your bag back to us and currently do not provide RMA labels.
(Note: Refunds can take up to 60 days to process)
AFTER 7 DAYS: We can issue a store credit toward your Copper River Bag Co account (at www.copperriverbags.com) and are usually able to waive the 12% Restock fee in most cases.
AFTER 15 DAYS: (Exchanges or Store-Credit Only): We'll need a current photo of the bag you're exchanging. Please send that over to info@copperriverbags.com and we'll get back to you asap.
AFTER 30 DAYS: NO REFUNDS OR STORE CREDIT
(Please Note: We use full grain leather with perfect imperfections. Leather may contain branding marks, scrapes and scars that give each bag its own character and address to its beautify over time. These scars and scrapes are no reasons to return or repair your bag. Please understand these imperfections are the reason our bags are so popular and sought after so enjoy your bag.)
NON REFUNDABLE ITEMS:
- Used items
- Customized items and any item with personalizations
- Items held for 30 days or more
- Gifted items, refunds are issued only to original purchasers. (all other warranties apply to gifted item)
- Customs or Duty Fees incurred from your own government taxes. These vary from country to country and per USPS regulations, we are not allowed to estimate or include such fees in our shipping costs and cannot be submitted for reimbursement.
- All products sold as seconds. All seconds sales are final, all custom work is final. (non refundable)
- All International sales are final sale and cannot be refunded, unfortunately. **Please note: If your package becomes missing in transit there's no need to worry. We make some pretty amazing efforts to get your package to you well before the time it takes for USPS to resolve a claim. And we also include a sweet gift inside for any troubles it might have caused you.

If there is extensive damage to the box, refuse the order and contact our Customer Service immediately.

Repair Policy and Instructions:
If during the 100 year warranty of your bag you encounter a problem with materials or workmanship please contact us immediately.
* 1 - Send us an e-mail indicating the problem and make sure to specify the order number or name of the original purchaser that you received the gift from.
* 2 - Please include attached pictures showing detailed area of concern.
* 3 - Copper River Bags will evaluate if it would be better (considering customer convenience and shipping fees) for the customer to have qualified local leather or shoe shop repair the item. All repairs taken care of in this matter will immediately be reimbursed to the customer with proper repair documentation submitted from the repair shop.
* 4 - If the item needs to be sent in mail to: Copper River Bags LLC, 424 Lincoln Blvd Suite 201. Lincoln CA 95648.
* 5 - Copper River Bags will pay for return shipping for all leather pieces to the customer once repairs are completed.
* 6 - Please allow 2-6 weeks upon receipt of leather goods to be repaired and returned.
